As an avid VR user (although on PC primarily), sound design can REALLY make for break the experience. You could have all the gorgeous visuals you want, but if the sound you are hearing does not match that fidelity, it takes you out of the experience completely.

Bionik has now come out with the Mantis VR Headphones which connect to the Playstation VR and are ready to up the quality on your setup.

They clip directly onto the body of the headset and connect to the unit itself, this leaves you with a comfortable and non-tangled experience that many VR users suffer from when having to use their own long lead headphones.

Bionik Mantis VR Headphones — Product

The headphones themselves sit on your ears gently and are flexible to fit all head sizes and ear shapes, similar to the Oculus setup.
Usually this would come with a sacrifice in audio quality, and while you MAY be able to tell the difference with over-ear headphones, honestly the Mantis VR has decent sound fidelity and you would be hard pressed to find something in this price range that would match.

If you are looking to these as music headphones, then you are in the wrong market, these have a specific function and design, gaming and VR.
They enable crisp sound effects and vocals, but would not be something you want to use for listening to music 24/7.

Overall, I could recommend this to those casual VR users as a nice upgrade to their VR setup. If you are in the market for updating your Playstation VR experience, the Mantis VR should definitely be on your radar!
